Let's pray !

Let’s pray for the safe evacuation for those still marooned in the disaster hit areas, in and around Kedarnath .The evacuation of more than 80000 pilgrims was not a cake walk, but, thanks to the Indian Army and Air Force personnel for their tremendous efforts in taking those stranded to safety and providing medical help to those in need, without taking cognizance of their state or caste . The news of snatching, rape, murder, evacuation of people of a particular state, poor disaster management and differences between the various wings of the team is disheartening when we have seen so much death and silt in the place of our worship, and, which is, and still will be , held in high esteem among us(The Hindus) . India will be a force to reckon with by 2030, it has been presaged; but this statement seems quixotic, having witnessed the pathetic and reluctant response of the government on various fronts,apart from the current one; until a turnaround is brought by a new government at the center-and it is in the offing.
